Comfortable and supportive, great for flat feet : New Balance Women's WW846 Walking Shoe,White/Blue,8.5 B
I have all the time had equilibrium issues and painful feet. Recently I took a foot test to decree what kind of arches I had and the results were I had beyond doubt flat feet. It was a simple test that I found online: you fill a pan of water and get your foot wet and then step on to a piece of cardboard or shopping bag or something you'd be able to see your foot print on and then step off and look at your print. Mine showed the entire foot which means flat feet with a probable tendency to be an overpronator. So I started researching shoes that would be good for that problem. I've had the most success before with New equilibrium shoes. I discovered this shoe by reading reviews for flat feet and I called the firm and asked which of their shoes was good for flat feet-not mentioning that I was already looking into this shoe and they listed this one off as being best for it and gift the most keep so I came here and ordered them.
When I first put the shoe on I felt slightly uncomfortable. But I wore them colse to for a day and then the next day wore them again and they were comfortable. My feet feel beyond doubt good in them and I do feel well-supported. I did result the advice on other reviews and ordered a half size up from what I ordinarily do because the shoes run small. Great advice and I'm glad I followed it because the half size up fits perfectly.
*Update* After a combine months of wearing them, my feet hurt and feel relieved when I take them off. I still wear them, but I'm not as happy with them as I was when I first got them. The keep doesn't feel like it's there and they just aren't as comfortable anymore. For as much as I paid for them, I'd think they'd hold up longer than that.
